*channeling Pedro* Don't have much to say.

Not a whole lot going on this week. Just work.

This weekend promises to be above average. Football is here and upon us, and I plan on watching it.

First off, Texas and Ohio St. square off in the college football season's first legitimate big game with possible National Championship implications. A great non-conference match up between two teams with storied histories that have never played against each other before, ever.

Secondly, the NFL preseason is finally over and the first weekend of games that count start this Sunday.

We are coming up on my favorite time of the year. I love autumn. Football, cooler weather, hockey, holidays. Mmmm, the world is becoming right again.

  • Yeah, just when I start to get excited about hockey starting 8 days (okay, so who cares if it's pre-season?), the husband has to burst my bubble with football talk. Yuck.

  • There is nothing wrong with football madame. At least it only comes around once a week. With hockey you will usually have at least two or three games a week.

  • I wish I could get as excited about football as most of you. But I just don't get excited anymore (9er fan here).

  • Yeah, it can be a real drag when your favorite team isn't much to speak of.
